67 camaro model

I have a white 67 camaro SS with a red bumble bee stripe. I was wanting to build a model to look just like it. Anyone know where I could purchase one?

AMT has a model of the '67 Z-28. If you can't find it on hobby shop shelves try Model Express or Model Roundup online. If no luck there, Ebay is a good bet.

That AMT kit doesn't have the SS hood. Somebody was casting that in resin...Time Machine, maybe? I think thats who it was...picked up one and an RS grille at a show a few years ago.

If you go up to Owasso, there is a well stocked hobby shop on South Main Street called Topshelf Models. If he doesn't have it, i am sure he would order it for you.

Tommy,do you know if the hood louvers from the AMT '72 Nova would work to make the SS hood? In all of the photos I have found of a '67 SS, not a single one had a good view of the hood louvers. They look (from what I can tell) to be close to the same size.

Yep, they are the same part on 67 Camaros and 68-72 Novas.

Also used in '68 on 350 SS Camaros, big block '68 Camaros got the four stacks trim like the '69 SS Camaros.
