crazyjim
Thanks Jonathan. The hood? It's a piece from the kit. Oh you mean how it's up a little on the front? I just didn't close it all the way.

Bartster
Wow, Jim! Stock? A little out of charachter, lol. Looks like a nice, clean build. Of course your garage would make a turd glow!!!!
knyte91
Hey CrazyJim, Nice build on the kit. I havent seen one of those in a long time. I remember I had a resin body of the GTU convertible. That is surely missed as I can no longer find the resin body or the kit.
crazyjim
Yeah, Bart. Stock. I just couldn't come up with anything to do to it other than a little bit of lowering. But thanks. Thank you Kirt. I got the Baretta in a trade with Michelle.
knyte91
Hey Jim, You got a good trade from Michelle. I havent talked to her all week. She gave me some helpful tips on how to do my 1/12th Mustang. I still havent started it yet. Im working on a AMT 70 1/2 Camaro right now. Trying to take my time as I usually rush thru my builds.
crazyjim
Take your time and enjoy the build, Kirt. When I try to hurry, I make more mistakes than normal.
knyte91
Hey Jim, I plan on taking my time. Unfortunately I had to strip the body & will be starting over.I was using laquer paint & I was too far away. It dried before it hit the body. I was about a foot away when I should've been only 6-8 inches away. hope next round it will turn out better. crazyjim
I hate stripping paint. Good luck on the next shoot - and don't forget to post some pics.
wraith
I like it. I would have left off the rear window louvers but in all it is a very nice build.
sjordan2
Very nicely done! Very clean, love the color. A little more detail in the taillights would be the perfect finishing touch.
Harry P.
Thanks Jonathan. The hood? It's a piece from the kit. Oh you mean how it's up a little on the front? I just didn't close it all the way. Why would you leave it partway open like that for the photos?
TurboKitty
looks good, I just stripped the paint from one I've had for awhile, trying to figure out what new color to go with LOL. These make a nice replica of the Beretta, I kinda wish someone made a Corsica conversion kit but that's one that will never happen. The convt. resin body shows up once in a blue moon on ebay, keep your eyes open
cobraman
I have also had that problem with lacquer drying too quick. Out here in AZ. it's not being too close that causes me a problem it's the darn heat we get in the summer. if I have to paint I pretty much have to do it before 7 am. Lownslow
does that kit come with that louvered window?
rustybill1960
Hey Jim Real sharp build! i like what you did with the interior, clean and simple real nice paint, i guess i am gonna have to try some HOK paint You get some real impressive results with your final product! Thank You for sharing Later Russ
crazyjim
Thanks, folks. The louvered window is part of the kit and has pieces that fill half the side glass that I didn't care to use. HOK makes some real nice paint, Russ.
