rudimen Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Loved this Polar Lights kit. I cut out and hinged the trunk detailed the engine and used cut off sewing needles for the deck lid pins (4 for hood 2 for trunk) But I didn't make the holes in the hood or trunk big enough to easily open and I was afraid I would damage it prying them open so no engine pics. I wonder if the guy I sold it to opened them up? ;D
Dominik Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Ohh....an old Nascar - beautiful! How was this Polarlightskit to build? I made a Torino an it was horrible to fix...
Dr. Cranky Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Nice, your reds are really bright and they make your models POP. Thanks for sharing.
TooOld Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Another great build ! Really sharp looking . What color paint did you use ? I also have this kit , but was never too thrilled with the looks of the body compared to other Chargers I have . The Talladegas are even worse . Yours turned out just fine . Good job .

bbowser Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Nice job on a difficult kit. I had lots of fit issues with mine, nearly every part needed some sort of massage. Looks great.
roadhawg Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Awesome job on a beautiful race car. I was actually at the 1973 Daytona 500 when this car SHOULDA won! He had it till right there close to the end.
