GeeBee Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Here she is, finally finished, after thinking long and hard, I decided that the rear "Bumblebee" stripe would be deleted ...
Harry P. Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Nice and clean. Rear glass fit is a bit iffy, though. You probably should have tried to fix that, but overall a nice looking model. Very clean without the graphics. Now add a dab of flat black to the ends of the tailpipes so they look hollow and not chrome plated.

I wish I had noticed that before putting the body on the chassis, the ends of the exhaust will get done before it goes into the showcase ....
ChevyCoupe41 Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 That looks very nice. Your color choise is perfect and everything other in this car looks awesome. Nice Job!
W-Machine Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Good looking build. That '68 Charger kit is a nice one, isn't it?
ewaskew Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 That came out real nice. I watched this one from time to time and I'm glad it came out nice for you.
TooOld Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 That's a beauty ! Good decision leaving the stripe off . It looks very clean . Nice engine too !
GeeBee Posted May 15, 2012 Author Posted May 15, 2012 That '68 Charger kit is a nice one, isn't it? It is a real nice kit, slightly different to the Tamiya kit's I have been building lately, with a little work these really do turn out a real nice model, just a few marks where the roof meets the body to sought out, and since taking these photo's I noticed the bonnet wasn't sitting right, it just needed pushing down a little ....
Bartster Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 I followed this build along & think it turned out fantastic! With this color, which l love, l think no rear stripe works best. Great all around job.
bbowser Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Great foil job on the skinny trim around the windows and wheelwells, I know how difficult that is! Love the color, stripe delete was a good choice. Great model!
Mopar - D Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Geoff great build on the Charger looks nice and clean.
W-409 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Nice build, as always. Nice to see you building these late 60's Muscle Cars too. I really like the Charger, paint turned out awesome and I like the engine detail too. Very clean build over all, but I would added that Bumble Bee stripe. It doesn't look bad like that either, but I think it would give nice finishing touch on this one. Very cool build anyway, keep these coming.
