Most of the tires offered by American Satco are now offered by other casters- Scenes Unlimited & Modelhaus Tires primarily.

Yes and no....

The tires were Aoshima's to begin with, but some of the kits had LHD resin dashes included, the dashed btw were scratch-build by a modeler who posts here, dunno who did the casting.

In short A.S. had their own tires tooled and bought in bulk Aoshima tires to be packaged and sold under their own label..

We met Rodger back in the 90s, very nice guy! We went to the Mall of America on vacation and stopped at his shop on the way back home. At the time he was the town postmaster too and there were a few dozen mailboxes in the old school building where his shop was. I wish I had taken pictures now.
