Dominik
Hi again, another build i finished this week. It was a restauration and i was shocked, as i worked on it. The frame...terrible...wrapped. And sad, that there were parts missing and the decals gone. So, i thought about it, to give this beautiful Pickup another theme. Take a look to my handymans pickup: 1977 Ford F-350 Ranger XLT Here you can see the bad frame...
Dominik
Thank you again for attention. I like it. I am a littlebit proud of the result. He will find a place on a diorama - parking on the street, so the bad side of it will be not in the view.

RodneyBad
Great looking build.. I think it is the old style grill that makes is look soo good. All the extra add-ons really add to it. Great job!!

hgbben
The warped chassis actually fits how those older trucks develop as they age. Worked in your favor.

Dominik
Thank you very much for your words buddies! I like the first issues of the kits - no question. To safe one is always a cool thing. I had searched the web and saw, that many of them have warped chassis. My thoughts were, to build a frame for it. But...new glue is harder than old one. No chance after my work, to take the bed of... About more dirt....i think about it! Really. Thanks again for kind words Edited May 19, 2012 by Dominik
Lovefordgalaxie
A red Ford, what is there to dislike???? Never mind the bent frame!! Is that a wine bottle on the front seat? I love that politicaly incorrect detail, I think I'm gonna put a 12 pack of Heineken beer on my '57 Ford model.
rustymodeler
My dad used to have anl ol yeller ford that had that same frame problem. Good job on this one man. I would like to get my hands on one of these.

Dominik
Oha! Thank you for comments! Just see it now, think i had started in the wrong section and it was moved correctly. Thanks again! Yes, it is a bottle of wine on the front seat That reminds me, to finish the diorama for it (*ups*)
Rob Hall
Sharp build... one thing I've always wondered about this kit--the box art shows a '73-75 style grille, but the one I have (and the red built up pictured here) has a '76-77 style grille. Did AMT change the grille during the kit run?
Fat Brian
Maybe the ramp truck or camper truck has the older grill, my star truck has the 76/77 grill too.
