AZ Boy Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 An (almost) box stock buildup of one of my favorite kits from my childhood days. Had to replace the kit headers with some parts box pieces when the originals kept breaking apart while trying to drill them out. Other than that, nuthin but kit pieces. Hope you like.
JunkPile Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Looks real cool. I built a few of those back in childhood days. That's been a while ago. Era early 1970's. May have to try another soon
MAGNUM4342 Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Now there's a rail with bite! Very nicely done. Love the green paint.
crazyjim Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 SHINY :) RULES! I'm working on a 2 seater street Trantula.
Burnout Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Very nice. One of my favorites as a kid too. Nice job with the paint. Are the kit slicks lettered as Firestone Drag 500 or did you do that on your own? They look great.
58 Impala Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Nice job. I've always liked that kit, ever since I built it when was first released. (40 plus yrs. ago) what brand/color paint did you use?

Thanks again for the comments everyone!
