An (almost) box stock buildup of one of my favorite kits from my childhood days. Had to replace the kit headers with some parts box pieces when the originals kept breaking apart while trying to drill them out. Other than that, nuthin but kit pieces. Hope you like.

Looks real cool. I built a few of those back in childhood days. That's been a while ago. Era early 1970's. May have to try another soon

Very nice. One of my favorites as a kid too. Nice job with the paint.

Are the kit slicks lettered as Firestone Drag 500 or did you do that on your own? They look great.

Ken, those are from a Slixx decal sheet. I lightly sprayed them with Dullcote after I applied them.

Tom, it's just Tamiya clear green over Tamiya silver. I cleared it with Testors Wet Look.
