Aaronw Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 AMT 1926 Model T 3 in 1 kit, done as a US Forest Service truck used to support fire crews. Paint is Krylon Dark Hunter Green and Black, custom decals done by me. Supplies are a mix of scratchbuilt, and G scale model RR bits.
southpier Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 that's really nice. i've always been too quick to toss the stock T parts!
Badluck 13 Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Nice to see a stock "T",decals are perfect, very nice lil' truck...
ARTEMIS1759 Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Awesome. Hey, where do you get G scale parts and such? Outside of doing semis me and my Dad want to build a G scale (1:24, 1:25) diorama and are looking for grain cars and such.
von Zipper Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 That's a very cool subject-I always enjoy your USFS builds. Your decals look great too !-Chris
Aaronw Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 Thanks, this was a fun one to do. TJ I don't know much about where to get the rolling stock, but I got a lot of G scale bits and bobs from Ozark Miniatures. http://www.ozarkminiatures.com/Scripts/default.asp
rmvw guy Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 I love this version of the "T". Nicely done! All the stuff in the bed is a nice addition, that's a lot of what I like about trucks. Another nice one for the Forest Service Aaron.
Wagoneer81 Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Beautiful! I love this kit and it looks great in its USFS finish!
Sixties Sam Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Larry's G Scale has a lot of good stuff in 1/25 (or 1/24). http://www.larrygscale.com/servlet/StoreFront
