I know this isn't a model car but need help.

Picked this up this weekend for $10.00. Mint sealed.

Just wondering when it was released. I built it over 50 years ago as a kid, so am reliving mu childhood.

Are there any copyright dates on the box or the instruction sheet?

Ideal Toy Corpation made some interersting models. This one falls into the late 50's -early 60's category. I think the molds are now owned by Revell. It is in their catalog as 85-0328. For $10, I'd bought it. I doubt if it is worth a great deal more.

58 sounds about right, Junior. My big brudder built that kit for me as a LITTLE kid. I was 5 and that was in 58. It IS a nice model as I remember it. My mom would get mad at me caz I wanted to play with it when I took my baths.

My MOm helped me build mine. I did the same thing with it in the tub.

Found out it was out around 56-58 release.
