Vilperi Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 As a new member here I thought I could show a least one build and introduce my self. Living in Sweden I usually don´t write in english so my spelling and grammar may be like a child, but I am 40 according to my drivers license Have been building modelcars on and off since I was 8 always trying to find new challenges. This was a "simple" almost box stock build from AMT Connessieur series. No v8 or big rear tires but I like the way it turned out.
jcbigpaw Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Very nice work and welcome to the forum. I love hot rods but a nice classic always looks good and this one looks great. Keep up the good work
cobraman Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 No worries, your grammer is fine. Also, that is a beautiful model.
rmvw guy Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Welcome!!!...Nice job on a stock build, I like your engine detail. The paint is awesome also! I have this one on my shelf unbuilt and now that I see yours I am tempted to start another project. Thanks or sharing.
Dr. Cranky Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Oh, this one is a real beauty. Wonderful, thank you.
Edsel-Dan Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 I started this one back when AMT re-issued it. Need to dig it out again. I do like that clean Stock Classic!!
W-409 Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Great build! Details are very nice and paint job looks good. I can say that you'll learn english here too. My english is not perfect either, but I've learned alot from here. And of course: Welcome!
Harry P. Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Beautiful model! And your English is better than some of our American members!
futurattraction Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 You've done a wonderful job on your build, Stefan, and, as Harry P. said, your English is much better than that of many of us here in the States. Very, very nice!
Bartster Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 GREAT job! Welcome & hope to see more quality work. Bart
jeffs396 Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Welcome to MCM Stefan!!! Great job on the old Bowtie!
Badluck 13 Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Stefan,very beautiful Chevrolet,love the engine detail....
Danno Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Beautiful model, Stefan! Perfect way to introduce yourself. And, as Harry said, your English is great ~~ Better than some of the American members, and a LOT better than 30% of the people who live and drive in my home state.
Vilperi Posted June 7, 2012 Author Posted June 7, 2012 Thanks for all kind words, great forum and many skilled builders, I will be spending some time here. /Stefan
Eric Macleod Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Wow! What a super nice model. Great colour scheme as well. I really like this one. Eric
MachinistMark Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Gorgeous. Wish there was a stock 34 chevy cabriolet available so i could build ours
espo Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 That's real nice. Don't often get to see a "stock" looking model like this.
Burnout Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Very nice work Stefan! It's nice to see so much new work from across the pond. And don't worry about your English. Most of us speak only one language (and not that well either).
Edsel-Dan Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 I too agree, You are doing great in your English. I too can understand your worry. I am trying to learn Dutch, but only have a bunch of Songs to use!
Grumpa Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Very nice job. I think that this is the first time that I have seen an AMT '32 Chevy built, and it looks great! Welcome aboard!
Lovefordgalaxie Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Beautiful, just beautiful. If it had big wheels and a V8 it would be just another hot roded Chevy. Instead of being just a Chevy, your is THE Chevy. Very very well done. Build a stock '32 Ford, and I'll be the president of your fan club.
