Jantrix Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 (edited) My wife picked this up for me for Father's Day. After some research I'm find this isn't a very good unit. Has ANYONE had any sort of success with this unit? No tank, no regulator I think I'm going to return it and go get the Badger TC910 at Michaels with a 40% coupon. Edited June 18, 2012 by Jantrix
martinfan5 Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 The lack of responses speaks volumes. Give it one more day, the forum was slow today with it being fathers day , but I think you already know your answer though
Deathgoblin Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I've got one, but haven't had much opportunity to use it yet. The lady at Blick where I bought it tried to talk me out of it.
Dr. Cranky Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Rob, I would follow your instincts. This is the perfect weekend to check out some great deals on compressors out in the home improvements stores. You might be surprised with the kind of quality compressor you will bet for a reasonable amount of money, one that will give you all the power you need. If all else fails, check out the IWATA SMART JET.
cruz Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Give wify a big kiss for her gift to you but definitely go and get a real compressor with a holding tank, in this hobby, the right tools always get the better results!

Rob......personally I would return this product and go with another one that has a tank and regulator.......most importantly I would thank your wife for the kind thought but, tell her it would no be efficient for what you do.........a compressor is a very valuable tool in this hobby.
Jantrix Posted June 18, 2012 Author Posted June 18, 2012 I have a larger compressor for the garage and it does fine for my airbrush, but I'm hoping to move move my airbrushing into the house. So need something smaller and quieter.
LoneWolf15 Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Need a tank. Agreed ! Or .... A long hose that will extend from the garage to the house !
