Jon Cole Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Can I have multiple albums in Photobucket? If so, can I transfer pics from one album, to another? Thx.

Jantrix Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Yes. I move nearly everything to another sub-album once it's downloaded. I keep only my completed work on the main album page. That way it is the first thing anyone sees should they visit. Each new build has it's own sub-album. It's very convenient.

Jon, the thing about PB is this, I am not sure the amount of storage space you can have, but they do have bandwidth limits per month, so if you have photos posted online, and they get alot of hits, you can exceed that limit, and those pics wont be seen tell start of the next month. Jon Cole Posted June 18, 2012 Author Posted June 18, 2012 Well, I just signed on with Photobucket. Uploaded 126 pics. I watched Gregg's "How-to" on using PBucket here on the boards... let's see if it works for me: SUCCESS! Now, peace and happiness is mine! Or... something like that.
crazyjim Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Before uploading to PB, I open each pic with Microsoft Office and resize to 50%. Takes up less space. Rob (Jantrix) said there's a way to resize as part of the PB upload but I've never figured that part out.

crazyjim Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Never heard of Irfanview. Can you resize a bunch of pics at one time?
martinfan5 Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Never heard of Irfanview. Can you resize a bunch of pics at one time? Not that I am aware of, but its a really easy program to use http://www.irfanview.com/
Jordan White Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 PB has an option to set a certain photo size for your uploads, and it will stay at the same size until you change it. Mine is set at 800x600, since that seems like a good size for forums. It's actually simple to do. 1) Click on the green "upload button" 2) Above where you choose the folder that the pics go to, click on "customize your upload options" 3) A box will pop up with a bunch of different sizes, choose the one that you want 4) Click "save" and upload your pictures.
kruleworld Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Never heard of Irfanview. Can you resize a bunch of pics at one time? i got photoshop elements bundled with some hardware i bought. it's great for resizing pictures (it has a 'save for web' option, that lets me resize and compress (ie jpg quality) that makes it easy)
