Gray Smith Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 thats very interesting and different, and I LIKE IT!
ViperDave Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 I thought the Charger needed a little touch up too. This the the before and after. Dave
Peter Lombardo Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Harry, I just looked at your posting from 7/17. (I don't look at all of the headings all that often) We are thinking the exact same way. I have started to build almost this exact same car. I converted the 4 dr to a 2 dr. and was planning almost the same front end treatment (which is taken from the beautiful 68/69 design). My rear end design uses the 69 Charger style tail lights rather then the lights that Chrysler chose. Now I will have to move the build up on this one as I want to see it finished after seeing your great rendering of what Dodge should have done.

sinister Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 those are nice concepts. why in the world did chrysler make the charger a 4dr?? completely kills the look. there are no 4dr sports cars!
Flatearthman Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 plus dodge didn't even make it look like a charger, they did a good job with the challenger. i do like the drawing though
Chuck Most Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 I dunno- I think you should've lost that Ram pickup grille (the WORST styling element on the new Chargers), and gone with something a bit more 1968-ish, or mabye a honeycomb pattern like on the new Challenger. I think such a treatment would look great as a full-width grille because, well, such treatments DO look good as full-width grilles! Other than that it works.
Dr. Cranky Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 I like it. It's really the only contemporary car I would buy.
Mike Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 I really like the look of the full grille and no headlamps. Great redesign Harry.
spad007 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 It''S wonderful Sir Thank you for showing this.. A thought i have i think the Car is short enough to be a hardtop . Don't get me wrong i like what you did with the car. and if one did not roll the car the added support won't be needed.
tahoebrian Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 If only they had made it a 2-door... <img src="http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j269/harrypri/charger-1.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> SWEET! thats what dodge shouldve called a charger!
evilone Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 harry just wait a little bit west coast customs will make a four door into a two door. they did it before they'll probably do it again lol. Looks cool though
Demon9115 Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 (edited) Something i did about a year ago with something called pixelcars,What my idea would of been it they built it. Edited May 21, 2011 by Demon9115
thesnake87 Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 I remember Pixelcars... nice. lol Love the concepts. Totally agree with everyone. That's what the Charger should have been
bandit1 Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 they will never be a charger for me! all they really are if you think about it is an chrysler 300c rearend with an intrepid front end and charger badging slapped on with a rear wheel drive and a hemi with an "auto" matic basically thats all they consist of!
thesnake87 Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Yep... it's like you can actually see the resemblance of the Challenger, Mustang, and Camaro (I know it's debatable for this one, but I think it's a great tribute to the classic) with their respective classics. The Charger... like you said a rebadged 300C pretty much. Disappointing...
