philo426 Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 I'll start with my Revell '56 Nomad.Came out great and everything fit with no problems. One of the best kits I have ever built.Tell/show me your trouble-free builds.
Chuck Most Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Hard to go wrong with an Ertl Scout II kit. Even if you add detail and fix the little accuracy problems with it, it will be a pleasant experience.
59 Impala Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 There are a few of the ones that were trouble free for me but I think this 53 Ford was one of the best even though I customized it a little. It's the Lindberg kit. Dan
cobraman Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 I think I may need to get one of those 53 Fords. Looks like it builds up real nice.
Jantrix Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 There was a lot of modifications done but every mod seemed to work perfectly, everything fit well and I had no real issues beyond the labor involved with the changes I made. With NO changes made, this kit went together with amazing ease. Highly recommended kit.
59 Impala Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Thanks Phillip. It was a very good build. Everything went together without any trouble, and I've always wanted to put 56 Packard tail lights on a car, real or model and I finally did it. Dan
deathskull59 Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 i would say the revelle 32 fords 70 buick gsx 34 ford pick up lindberg kit. and revells 34 ford 3 window 57wagon 56 chevy 41 chevy p/u and 49 merc kits. ive built them all still have some and lost some. but i never had any major problems with these kits.
deathskull59 Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 as for 57 nomad this pic was taking after ive built it as a hearse and redidit as a rat rod gasser. sadly i wasint happy with it wnen turned it to a burnt out wreck and threw it in the trash. but i still got the 3 window and buick done. maby next time ill buy a nother 57 nomad kit and do it as a sedan delivery or a hearse.
oldscool Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 My most trouble free build was this one. The car was easier to build than the triplane that came with it.
martinfan5 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 This one for me, it almost built itself, it made look like I know what I am doing
cobraman Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 The most trouble free model I have built lately would have to be this. 49 Merc kit.
