Yeah, higher res would have been nice! As far as the red concept next to the Firebird Kammback wagon------that looks like the old Pontiac Banshee out of the '70's. There were several versions of Banshees and this one looks to be about mid '70's era.

I think this is the car you were seeing.............

The front end somewhat predicted the '77-78 Firebirds it seems.

Pretty close- it's the Banshee III from 1973...

...and Yes, it most definitely showed the "mean" face which was to come debut in '77, inspired by the Banshee III.

Was the Banshee based in the Firebird or Phoenix? Looks like it's got styling cues from both.
