Nick Notarangelo Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Yea I can do this in my saturn when I dream tonight.
Kaleb Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 All said, I would like to see this car guy drive Detroit muscle from way back. Given the horsepower and the place to run just about anyone could do what he does, it's not hard. I'm going to catch flak on that statement but it is true.

Sure are, For starters, why not say " if you were really good, you would try it on a jet ski", same diff man. Of coarse it's not a "real car" it's a machine. Cars are boring, my mother drives one. Machines are dangerous, and give you a reason to catch your breath. Don't think it's quite so easy, even with the power or space. To quote the great Jason lee, " a hundred bucks and ill buy you dinner at Benny hahnas, I'll give you 200 try's and come back in two weeks" But really, how about a round for the super excited flag man !!!
Lownslow Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 The man can drive! I would love to go for a ride, you would definitely have to hang on! yes he can when its rehearsed
Junkman Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Isn't this kind of stuff usually done with black Chargers and green Mustangs? I also miss the exploding petrol station in the end.
Joe Handley Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Isn't this kind of stuff usually done with black Chargers and green Mustangs? I also miss the exploding petrol station in the end. That's why I'd have prefered to see Pastrana in his Dart in one of these!
Rob Hall Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Since Ford is a sponsor of Block's endeavours, obviously they are going to use a race car based on a current Ford product. It wouldn't make any sense to use an old car.
Zarana-X Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 (edited) Here's James May from Top Gear going for a ride along with Block, in his old Subaru. [media=] I'd just like to add, you couldn't do this in a "real" car. There's a reason you would always see the General Lee buckle when it landed. Edited July 13, 2012 by Zarana-X
Draggon Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 (edited) Nice to see that all that stuff circulating in the bay area about the bridge being closed was put to good use! Woulda been awesome ( and I rarely use that word ) to see him go down Lombard Street! Imagine the smoke from drifting down this! Edited July 14, 2012 by Draggon
