MAGNUM4342 Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 When my son was about five, he asked a very valid question. If the Coyote can buy all that stuff from Acme, why doesn't he just go get KFC? I didn't know how to explain metaphors to a five year old so I just said "He doesn't like fried" As a huge fan of Looney Tunes i'll be watching this one.
GrandpaMcGurk Posted July 11, 2012 Author Posted July 11, 2012 (edited) Thanks for the kind words guys, as far as the scale goes, it'll be around 1/12th. I did a trade with Steve "aksarben" for this DUB toy car body a while back. Steve, I picked up the photo you posted in your '57 Chevy build, hope you don't mind. This will become the "ACME GT 500"...... Edited July 11, 2012 by GrandpaMcGurk
DR JAY Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Wile E. Coyote is my favorite actor. I'll be watching this one for sure!
GrandpaMcGurk Posted July 11, 2012 Author Posted July 11, 2012 Don't need all these toy car bells and whistles.........I'll just put 'em away for another build, maybe, sometime.
Ryan S. Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Amazing work so far. I had an idea while looking at the torn apart chassis. Seems to me that the coyote might like some loud tunes...I'd take that speaker that is faced down, build an enclosure for it and mount it in the back seat area. Could look pretty cool. Just a thought, but keep up the good work on this one. I'm going to go grab some popcorn and watch!
