  1. Man that is sweet, love it.
  2. What I wouldn't do for that convertible! Will be keeping an eye on these two
  3. Looks pretty good to me mate. Welcome back to the hobby
  4. Good to see you back at this one Jason, more great work! That 4-link is shaping up nicely indeed.
  5. Ordered from them on several occasions and never had a bad experience with them.
  6. Lotta work in that, but it sure shows in the end. More of your brilliant thinking shown through that jig, fantastic Thanks Shawn, I learned a few things there. And as always, it's a pleasure to see your great work.
  7. Put simply, if someone really wants something, they can and will get it.
  8. Ah-hah! I see now, very clever Shawn I was wondering how the two chasis pieces would hold together, I hadn't noticed that step in the interior tub. I would never have thought of that. It's a credit to you, even just possesing the ability to think ahead like that when you're building these parts, it just amazes me. Keep up the great work mate.
  9. Those Blue Dragons are in the Revell '67 Charger kit too. Or, were at least- I'm not sure about the current release.
  10. Kinda surprised to not see any of Aoshima's tyres in here yet. I found a few pics on my computer, so I thought I'd post 'em up. Here's one of their 18" tyres, I was very pleased with the sharpness of the details. Here's their 19" tyre also. A little flash on some tyres, but the crisp detail more than makes up for that in my opinion. I have a few more photos lying around here somewhere too, I'll post those up when I find them.
  11. Makes sense, being the Silver Bullet Awesome car, I'll be keeping an eye on your build.
  12. I'd consider those guys in the photo pretty brave. This however, is closer to insanity. http://youtu.be/M1pTZRH_AtY
  13. Thanks again fellas! You are all too kind Thanks for the input mate Here's a quick photochop I did; about 2" here Even that looks a little short really. I think I'll still chop it, but as you suggest, very mildly. About 1" should do it I hope.
  14. So kool Guy, I love it
  15. Wow this looks amazing! I have one of these going too, although mine still has the roof Very well built sir, I like it very much.
  16. I just recently bought a bed from them, and I have to say, the quality is none short of amazing. Flash is virtually non-existent try as I might I couldn't find a single air bubble. The detail is nice and crisp. I was also a bit put off by the fact that they have no pictures on their site, but a look at their very extensive catalog explains the reasoning behind that pretty well. And no, I'm not being paid to say this. I'm just a very happy customer Here's a pic of the bed, if it helps anyone- These might be worth a look too- http://public.fotki.com/sheridan13/modelhaus-tires-1/ http://public.fotki.com/sheridan13/modelhaus/
  17. Thanks so much fellas!! I really appreciate all the nice comments. Unfortunately uni hasn't allowed me much spare time lately, but I have managed to clean up after that section and start on a tailgate. Hopefully the final stance will be fairly close to this, we'll see how it goes- Sorry for the B/W pic, I was just playing around with the camera, but this shot turned out the clearest Thanks for the suggestion Fred I'll know for sure once I get the roof chopped, but that does look like a pretty good idea, I appreciate it. Another excellent idea! I have been staring at it a lot and looking at lots of other grilles, and I am liking the look of quad headlights. I thought maybe I could try something Impala-inspired, with horizontal slats. I figure it'd make the truck appear wider/flatter. Just a matter of experimenting I guess, eventually I'll come up with something that feels right Thanks for following along with this build blokes. Hopefully I'll get a breath of free time soon enough, and I can dive back into the deep of this project again
  18. Glued to this one again mate, you're a true legend to show us the whole process step by step. The tricks I've picked up from this so far... this needs to be printed into a book for later reference. I would seriously buy it.
  19. Good start KC, can't wait to see some colour on this beauty. With the steering wheel I would think Is that the final stance KC?
  20. Well, with fresh motivation thanks to the new bed's arrival, I dived into this again over the weekend. I've started the the next section. Here's what we're starting with- I decided the best way to go about it was to remove the sides, so off they came. Here they are all marked up for cutting- And mocked up- Next step, filling those cut lines. Thanks for stopping by
  21. Kind of a side note, but sometimes, when a question is answered well, the question thread ends up containing at least one tip. I don't know about anyone else, but when I'm searching for a tip on something in particular, it often helps me to check related questions on the topic. Sometimes there's an answer in there with just the information I need.
  22. Yay!! Got my new bed from Modelhaus, very pleased with it Now I can get on with the major components of this build Progress soon...
  23. Haha yea, very much like that one actually.......... Don't worry though, I have my eyes on a different source
  24. A flathead? In a Dodge???? Are you insane?!! Oh wait, you are I'm actually thinking of putting a new Hemi in, if I can get my hands on one. What do you reckon fellas?
  25. Coming along well KC, the front arch looks about as close to perfect as anyone would dare get I reckon. Did you chop the screen on that Ford, or is that an optional kit piece? Also interested to know what that Mustang part will be going in...... hmmmmm
