Just wondering how many can identify parts by looking at them... Like if you had a big

box of frames,, could you identiy them, or any box of parts, could you tell what there from and go to.

Depends. Sometimes I have seen painted parts and can't recall where they came from, but after stripping the paint the plastic color helps. I have a hard time though with all the "kitschy" kits that MPC modeled aimed at kids in the late 60's- 70's.

Scary part of it ? I usually can . Drives Kathie crazy at times when we " consolidate " the ever growing monster . After 50 years of playing with countless numbers of Amt , MPC , etc, I should be able to identify most , if not all of the parts .

She'll bring a box of loose parts to me , I go through it , tell her which is what to this or that kit , she just laughs ! Tells me I need help , could this be true ? Lol !

i can probably ID 90% of the parts i have except mag wheels. i have a heck of a time trying to pull together a full set from my parts boxes.... but nearly all of the regular parts are identifiable. generic parts are the toughest.
