This is Fantastic Glue Bomb Restore! I've always liked '68 Impala and it's a shame that they are expensive. Revell, would it be good idea to make one Model Kit of '68 Impala too :lol: ?

You did good job with restoring the body. I don't understand the foil casting. Tried it once, or twice but both times I failed. How you guys do it? Good job with the paint too, and wheel choice is just right.

For foil casting I use regular tin foil and rub an impression over the emblem or trim part I want to replicate. Then I fill the back side of the foil with a thin coat of five minute epoxy and cut out the piece when dried.

DUDE, I grew up learning in one just like it,(307-2bbl). 14 years old in an apple field.. GREAT ,JUST FANTASTY....

Very nice Impala Sean! How did you do your gills on the front fenders? I painted mine with chrome paint,but it barely shows up. I'm thinking I may have to try to foil them.

I baremetal foiled the side gills. I hand painted the back edge black just like the real car.
