AFX was selling at the louisville show

Afx was at the louisville show selling all the items they sell on ebay. Got a resin mopar cross ram setup for 4.00. Wish I would have brought more $ as there were several of their bodies I want. Steve

Are they back in business or did they never go out of business? I thought I recalled Dave Zinn mentioning they were OOB for a while now.

IIRC they put a post up on their website a few years ago indicating they had sold off the business...but their stuff does seem to pop up now and then on eBay under different names. I bought a bunch of stuff from them without problems years ago up until 2005 or so, when things w/them started getting wierd and involving snakes, spiders, and tornadoes...

well all the parts were marked afx. Guy named Wendel was the owner. Not sure he sold the biz or just has a 2nd party sell the stuff for him on ebay. Who ever it is, they put out nice stuff. Steve

I remember seeing (over the years} many people in the resin aftermarket selling at shows,while on internet forums such as this,people were complaining that they were waiting on product for months.

Wendall and his wife Monica are pure snakes... Their family is involved also... they move things around form family member to family member to keep people off their backs... Even if you have the product in your hands be careful it may not be real... I know at one time the Feds were looking at them because of interstate fraud... not sure if any of that is still going on or not but it should be.. They have stiffed alot of people and taken alot of money and never supplied the goods... They owe me personally about 200.00 or alot of product... So until they pay up I will do whatever I can to make people aware of what they are all about...

Guy is a thief! Luckily I got my money back through the purchase through ebay. I read something about his wife running the business and trying to keep up with the orders. Don't buy a thing from this clown.

AFX had some interesting stuff in the past. But be carful I had some arguments with them regarding shipment and a nice email that the don't want negative comments in any forum or email community like Model Car List. Finally I got my stuff.

And just like that the ebay link is blank of things for sale. I'm 90% sure this is the outfit that did the conversion for the Aoshima Mad Max rig to switch from "Road Warrior" to Mad Max. That is being re-released and it would be SOOO cool if a conversion is available.

Monica Sowers is the person I had to tell E-Bay about when I put my complaint in for not getting my 68 GTO body about 5 years ago. I've NEVER heard ANYTHING good about them, OTHER than they DO have good products. Such a shame, I won't ever deal with them again, caz I've LEARNED my lesson!
