Hey Bryan. I may have an idea for you if you can not locate your trunk lid. If you or someone you know can make you one from resin I would be willing to loan you one from one of my unbuilt kits. I would just need it back so my kit would be complete. Let me know if you need to borrow one. Then you would only have to worry about matching the paint.

You can make a boot lid. Cobra's aren't a complicated shape.

I think your right. Even a piece of beer can will work! The bigger problem may be matching the paint. That is a really good paint job!!!!!

Hey, if youse guys are interested, I'd be happy to make a mold and make a scale-thickness one from fiberglass. I've shown a couple of the parts I've done that way on here and at the neighbors from time to time, and I've pretty well perfected the technique.

This build is looking so fine I really hate to see it get hung up for lacking a part.

If all else fails, I just got one of these off eBay, half started, it still has the insert in the trunk opening. if you want, you could use it and fill in the gaps. I may have to do the same thing with the door inserts, as the original owner seems to have lost one of the inner door panels.

Let me know, it's all yours if you want to try.

Great job so far, I can't wait to tear into mine.
