Dr. Cranky
Zeroed in on the perfect name for this one: LA RATA AZTECA. Oh yes, I can see some silver and gold on there . . . Now, I have to find just the right color turquoise.

LoneWolf15
Testors ! Cut it 50 / 50 with the laquer thinner , it'll knock the shine down quick and dry even quicker !
Jantrix
Lets not overlook the idea of using a metallic gloss color and then hit it with some matte clear and go for the suede look. I think this is a great idea Virgil.
Dave Ambrose
Around here, Aztec means red and black. I'd go with a slightly darker red that would never be confused with primer, and either black fenders, or black below the belt-line. Lay down a gold pinstripe to separate the two. That's my dos centavos.
Tony T
Found these two pics of the same car... And one idea for a future build...GASSER!

If you have more reference pictures, please post them, I find them very inspirational. And I still open for great ideas.

Dr. Cranky
My favorite is 2, and this goes to show that when a good kit gets under the builder's skin, it's a sweet ride. It happened to me last year with the 55 Belaire and the Shelby Cobra. Thank you for all the great inspiration, folks.
