MoparOrNoCar94 Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Does anyone know of any early dodge or plymouth cars or trucks?
charlie8575 Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) Italeri and Testors made (may make now if re-issued) a 1933 Imperial phaeton. MPC did 1932 Imperial phaeton and roadster. The phaeton is out there, can be a little tough to get, but usually not too expensive. Lindberg did a nice 1932 Plymouth roadster, and I believe a 1933, too, although I don't remember ever seeing one. These are 1/32 scale. AMT/MPC did a 1936 Plymouth dirt-track racer. You cannot build it stock. Those are the only kits I can think of. Charlie Larkin Edited August 16, 2012 by charlie8575
gtx6970 Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) I have both the 1932 and 1933 Chrysler Imperial kits. Edited August 16, 2012 by gtx6970
my66s55 Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 The other 1:32 Plymouth is a 1934. I have all the kits listed in this post.
jeffs396 Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Here's a few not-quite-stock resin bodies to use as a starting point: http://www.bigdonkey...eb_site_006.htm
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 It's not great (it may only be available as a modified, though I THINK I've seen it with stock windows and no roof cutout...) but Fred's Resin Workshop makes a '33 Plymouth 5-window coupe body shell. It could be a starting point with some modified '34 Ford parts to finish it up. Part # FRW_BOD35 http://www.frwspeedequipment.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=86&t=12931&hilit=33+Plymouth
