RAAF Fire Truck

Hello all. I was given the 1/24 Revell Shlingmann fire tuck a few months ago, as a mate had bought the kit only for the ladders. He started the chassis then gave it to me. As soon as l got it, i knew i was going to do something different with it.

At the moment it's about 99% finished, have to put on the wing mirrors and make up some decals.

it is in a way. there are a few scania and international trucks that are in red or fluro green, but i have seen a few pics of the bigger ones in cam, i think they usually use them for a more tactical setting

Very neat and different. I've seen off the shelf Pierce apparatus painted up in Desert tan for the US Army and USAF, so this seems very believable for RAAF. I love the contrast of camo to blend in and bright flashy emergency lights to stand out.
