george 53 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Not to be mean, Matthijis, But to be honest with you, I don't think ANYONE makes that set up. Get the Turbo's from Shucky(Mike de Luca)here, an just plumb the rest of it yourself. Get some good refrence pics an just go for it!

Ace-Garageguy Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 The Monogram Callaway Corvette Speedster twin-turbo setup would be a fairly easy conversion. The port spacing on the exhaust and intake manifolds is wrong for an LS, but it's do-able.

Not familiar w/ that one...I've always avoided the Monogram 1/24th '69 Camaro....
matthijsgrit Posted August 22, 2012 Author Posted August 22, 2012 I know about the Camaro (horrible!) and the Callaway (great, but tucked way too far to the under side of the engine). I'm looking for a more modern setup... What kind of tubing would one suggest for fabricating this myself? Thanks!
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 For exhaust headers and systems I've been experimenting lately with 4043 aluminum TIG welding rod of the correct scale diameter. I don't have the techniques all worked out yet, but it bends fairly easily, doesn't collapse like tubing, it holds its shape, doesn't go dull or poison you like lead solder, and will polish up like chrome.
