Bryan, I Have checked out every post in this thread, and I love the detailing work you have done, and you weathering it looks very reakistic on your builds! I will continue following this thread!

to make this nasty ripped up convertible top, i had to take the kit boot and cut it out soit will look like the frame of the top once i cover it with material....

so i marked it, and hacked it out...

it still has to be sanded and cleaned up before i can start makin the top

Yes, I love where the cover is headed. YOu will be able to get some undulations on there and make it look raggedy. Nice, nice, nice. Yes, keep it going.

ok, the engine is done! well, it still needs a coil, but ill get to that after the body is on the frame......

Seriously, would love to see some actual "work in progress" pics, some step by step of what you are foing here,. The oil pan etc look so real!

used a cutting wheel to hack that out......im gettin ready to clean it up now, i got sidetracked for a bit..

ok heres what i got so far guys....

i cleaned up the frame for the top....

i cut some strips of thin paper towel that had no pattern on it.......

i thinned out some white glue.and started layering the towels on it.....

and heres what ive got so far....

it looks like a blob now, but when i paint it, and get it ripped up some more, it will be ok....
