GMP440 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I'm looking to see what kit or kits could possibly have these wheels. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. George
Casey Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I don't recall ever seeing those in a kit, sorry.
Jordan White Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Closest you might come is the wheels from the Dukes Charger kit or any other turbine-spoke wheels you come across (A-team van perhaps?)
Joe Handley Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 What about the Knight Rider K.I.T.T. and that era Trans Am kits? If I didn't know better, I'd swear those are the same minus big plastic disks.
GMP440 Posted September 16, 2012 Author Posted September 16, 2012 (edited) Never knew the Fiero kit had those. If anyone has a set of those they don't need, I could put them to good use. I can modify that wheel to go from four lug nuts to five. They may be small but those were used on Pontiac Grand Prix's. They were a 14" size. Joe , you mentioned about those wheels being on the 82' Firebird kit. You were right in that they can't be used because Revell casted the wheel cover to the rim. I have that kit and saw that too. zenrat Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I can't find a decent pic but the AMT Monte Carlo with Fantasy Chopper kit had something similar - the box art shows the optional "Hot Wire" type wheels.
Joe Handley Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I think those Fiero wheels are 5 lug wheels, at least in the box art anyway.
