AMT 06 Camaro concept

Just got this build finished.

AMT kit.

Opened up grille and front bumper.

Aoshima kranze LXZ wheels,modified front rims to lessen the amount of dish/lip.

Fujimi disc brakes.

Interior colour is Tamiya XF-57 Buff.

Paint on the body is

Base coat: H.O.K black

Overcoated/2nd coat: H.O.K intercoat clear with a bit of Pearl-Ex 644 reflex violet pearl mixed in.

Top coat: H.O.K UC-35 clear

I really like this car! This is the best use of Pearl Ex on a model car that I have seen! I bought

Pearl Ex a while back and have never figured out just how to use it until I read what you did.

I finally have some ideas!!

On a different note, I do everything I can NOT to paint every car I have purple! It's my favorite

color and I think most cars look great in that color! Seeing this car doesn't help that urge at all!!
