Jordan White Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Built a snap-tite Hummer a long time ago (like back when I was in elementary school), and just left it in the red plastic it was molded in. This past week, I decided to rebuild it as a quick project, and I must say it's a complete transformation. Before: After:
Foxer Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Nice rescue on this ... but nothing with the original .. it's what got you started into this!
george 53 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Funny how a little paint an detailing can wake a snapper kit right up!
Jordan White Posted October 2, 2012 Author Posted October 2, 2012 Funny how a little paint an detailing can wake a snapper kit right up! Agreed. Plus with it being a snapper, I was finally able to finish a build in a reasonable time!
blubaja Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Great job. Revell did really decent work with all the lights and rivets on the body. Good detail work really brings it out!
Edward Gore Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Wow well done. Amazing what a little paint can do
RodneyBad Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Great rebuild.. Looks Great in Yellow.. Nice work.
Jordan White Posted October 10, 2012 Author Posted October 10, 2012 Thanks guys. I'm still amazed how with just a little painting, a kit can go from a toy to something that looks real!
