Chuck Most Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Roger- what I said about the '72 T-Bird applies to that Comet as well.
GerN Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 You like fastbacks as much as me ... would love to see some of these in a WIP. Yeah, I think the fastback is the purest auto style. I like the 3 box style the least. Hatchbacks and humpbacks are also OK - I've been working on a 1941 Willys conversion to a humpback today, in fact.
Guest Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 I like that Comet Roger. Thanx Glenn. It's 85-90% complete now.
Cool Hand Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 This is my current wip.Hoping to finish it before the year ends. 1

gtx6970 Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 Couple old started projects that have sat many many years exactly the way shown here. Original issue Johan 1970 Road Runner . It had a badly damaged decklid when I go it , so I cut it out and was replacing it with one cut from the Superbird kit and that was as far as it went 2nd one is an original issue MPC 1968 Barracuda. I wanted to make a BO29 Hemi cuda out of it but couldn't bring myself to sand off the 1968 only rocker trim, so it sits . I've had both of them probably close to 20 years and they've sat like this for close to if not more than 15 years in boxes. Someday maybe.
gtx6970 Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 (edited) That a plastic version service bed in red ? if so, wanna get rid of it ? Light Duty Rescue Squad for when the Heavy Rescue above is not needed!! Edited December 20, 2012 by gtx6970

GerN Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Thanks, epi4561, for your kind comment - I appreciate the encouragement.
Edsel-Dan Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 The red Squad body is Plastruct. Not sure it is Worth using. That is why the unpainted White Styrene replacement. Remember, that is 1/32 scale too, Not 1/25
moparfarmer Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Sure dig cars in primer. Mostly light grey primer or white. Sure brings out the details that you don't see with a color coat on them. I like shiney though so I guess they got to be painted in the end. Some very nice stuff here though...
