Chuck Most Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Well... I think it's a Mack. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Chuck Most Posted October 23, 2012 Author Posted October 23, 2012 It's from a third-world country- where US vehicles are allowed in but parts for same are not.
sweeper Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 So that's where MTS gets their trucks from!!!!!!!!!
cappy625 Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 thats definitely an old r model mack, and judging by the old style after cooler on the driverside of the engine, its mid to late 70's.ether a 300,or 300plus hp.engine.just goes to show you how tuff those old macks realy where.
Wagoneer81 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Well, it USED to be an old Bulldog... Kinda reminds me of a Cuban vehicle, like Chuck said... They have all these old American cars but no parts thanks to the trade embargo...
Fat Brian Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 The two pipes on the air filters means this truck has the tip turbine Mack engine. It was a king of bypass intercooler and was available from 285 to 315 and eventually 350 hp. This system was introduced in the mid to late seventies and was phased out in 86 when Mack redesigned the heads of their straight six engines.
72 Charger Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 I beleve its an R600 or an R700 possibly I could be wrong tho i normaly am poor old thing I would give a good home

I was just thinking that old Junkard Dog Mack kit might be a bit more presentable-looking if you built it to resemble this truck.
The70judgeman Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Wow...and I thought the MACK's we had in the yard at my last job were old, tired, and beat up! That one takes the cake.
