Revell of Germany Kenworth Dump Truck Reissue!?

Hi all,

I was looking on ebay today and found the Revell of Germany Kenworth Dump Truck as a reissue!! I've listed the link below. I have the original that was out back in the 90s. I made a search on the net and found sereval on line model dealers have this kit shown for a late Nov. release. This is very good news. Has anyone else heard any news about this.

nope the stanrd dump truck it would be cheaper to get it from the LHS as it will still be over 100 bucks

i don't get why revell doesn't use a modern W-900? I'm still probably going to buy one of these but i really wish it were the up to date version of the W-900 i mean we've seen this particular tooling for at least 20+ different variations come on revell time for an update.

Is this the one that comes with opening, hinged doors? Or was that the Bill Signs Pete?

Or am I thinking of something else altogether...?

That W900 mold is getting in rough shape, I bought one of the current kits with the flat top sleeper and it's very flashy and the alignment is poor on a lot of the cab parts. It is in need of some refeshing before they completely ruin it.

i tell ya what i'd like to see from revell is them reissue the tanker trailer kit i still have one from way back in 2003? it's a nice kit and i think it would benefit from a reissue. but as far as the W-900 kit yes it has begun to deteriorate from constant use same thing with the 359 kit that revell offers i realize now that revell may never tool up a modern W-900 but it never hurts to dream right?

They already did a T600, all they have to do is make a W900L hood and add it in. I don't see what the hold up is.

One snap kit,flat sheet,photos and around a week of chopping and cutting with some extra parts one could have a truck with a pup.

Oddly enough, Model Express (dispite announcing that they are closing up shop) are offering this kit as a "case of 3" for $199. That works out to $66.67 per kit. But you have to pre-order the case of three kits.

Just received mine this week from Model Express fist look it is the 1/25 scale not the 1/24 scale that Tower Hoppy has shown.
