It had taken a while to continue with my Straight 8 Rod. I had used salt and hairspray for the rusty look. I'm not happy with the result. I had forgotten to protect the base coat with clear coat before I had applied hair spray. So the next step will be clear coat and salt again.

The radiator is scratch build from plastic sheet. The fan is from Model Car Garage, while the mesh is from Kit Form Services.

I had detailed the heavy weld lines with bare metal foil and remove the paint with a rounded wood

Love how this one is turning out! I need to track down a set of those Woodlites.

These Woodlites are horrible to paint. No paint works, I had rinse it in castrol super clear, the paint don't dry.

Here some pictures of the intake. The Strombergs are from Model CAr Garage. The funnels are simple conductor sleeves.

seriously that rust on the body and the welds from the chop , grinded clean look so realistic :wub:

the scratches on the door hmm would be nicer just rust (not ment badly)
