kevin Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Missing link's new 1968 Ford LTD near complete just finish with the AMT 1969 Galaxie!
charlie8575 Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Pillared and pillarless now.... Kevin, you're going to spoil- and bankrupt me! But with your quality, it's well worth it. Charlie Larkin
Rob Hall Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 It's very nice..got mine a few months ago...going to use a 428 from a '66 Galaxie w/ Modelhaus '70 LTD hubcaps and whitewall tires. It will go nicely w/ my ML '71 Galaxie and '78 LTD, and Modelhaus '72 Custom and LTD. Love the big Fords of that era...
Elliot949 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I am with Fat Beian... looking for a 2 door... I think someone does a 72 2-door but I haven't found it yet...
jas1957 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 A 2 door would be great, seeing what original ones go for.
Rob Hall Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I am with Fat Beian... looking for a 2 door... I think someone does a 72 2-door but I haven't found it yet... The Modelhaus makes a very nice '72 LTD Brougham 2dr.
Fat Brian Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I was hoping for the 68, with a 2 door I could replicate my dads first car.
Rob Hall Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 R&R casts a resin version of the AMT '68 XL 2dr fastback annual IIRC...no one has done a '68 LTD formal roof 2dr yet that I know of...
Maindrian Pace Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 The original XL fastback was one of the very few AMT kits of that era that had a poorly proportioned body. It's fairly bad, that new 4door is a big improvement. -MJS
