I was at the Model Empire today and picked up the Round2/AMT Meyers Manx kit as well as the Round 2/MPC 1/16th scale Street Charger kit also. They did have the Vantasy kit, the Gremlin kit, the Barnabas Vampire Van kit, and a '51 Chevy in a tin box kit as well. They also had the Tim Flock Hudsons on the shelf along with the Hornet kits.

Is that a Charger promo?

Its the annual kit from '72 (which was based on the promo)-

The same interior, engine (with metal axle through the pan, and chassis (although without the screws) carried over through the '73 and '74 annuals as well as the red "Super Charger" street machine of the 80s

The '72 body was also used in a " '71 Hawaiian" funny car kit with the '72 Rallye door vents and emblems but with a plain bulged hood molded in as well as the " '71 Buddy Baker NASCAR" kit which still had the Charger emblems molded into the C pillar but smooth doors- the easiest starting point for a stock non-Rallye '72

Didn't even necessarily want this one- just put in a $9.99 bid because I figured it might look cool next to my "factory George Barris fogged" '71 Charger

It wasn't today, but I still had to share: I got a Tim Flock Hudson from our 'reborn' LHS on Wednesday, and it's very-very-very nice!

Picked up an AMT Dirty Donny Chevy van today at a LHS...(still waiting on the one I ordered). Nice..reminds me a lot of the Kandy Van version I built as a kid 33 years ago...has the stock '71/72 body w/ trim, steelies and dds....I'll probably build one as a custom van (has portholes and skylights on the clear tree, roof wing, custom front end, wide 5 spoke wheels) w/ murals, one as a plain beater van, and one as a cut down for an motorhome conversion I've been wanting to do for a while...

I think you should also do a review of the McEwen Dragster

Just went up in New Kit Reviews

Evil- the vette c5-r kit is on my list, you should do a review of the kit, I am curious to see how the kit is

Gonna do that one next. Should be up within the next hour
