Scuderia Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 For my Menace 2 Society project. Gonna be curbside, once i figure out how to make a lower splash cover for the chassis to hide the non-engine...
martinfan5 Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 (edited) Why a curbside? Edited March 31, 2012 by martinfan5
Scuderia Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Cause I hate lowriders, but figured i'd build at least one 'Movie Car'. It won't be a focal point of my collection, so i'd rather save the 5.0 engine for something else down the road.

Well I cant blame you for wanting to save the 5.0, I hate low riders too, although they do tend to have some very cool paint jobs , what movie car are you building ?

disabled modeler Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 The mail carrier brought these Jo-Han kits today. All are sealed except for the Eldo which is started but the body has not been painted. NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love Johans!!!!!!!!!!!
2000-cvpi Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 I went to Hobby Lobby again today to get Easter decorations with my wife. I bought these two kits with the 40% off coupons, the cashier counted my six year old daughter as a separate customer so I could use two coupons. Both kit's are now my second of each, so it wasn't a bad deal.
JamesW Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Today's mailbox find. The Eclipse is goin pink with some Hello Kitty for my daughter.
RodneyBad Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Went to the Local SABA NNL Show and Swap meet and picked up some goodies. These were the most interesting Part Packs I got. I love a good Bargain I also got the Sauerkraut Resin axle from Stewart Now to get back to work on my Monster Hauler..
Olskoolrodder Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Today I got an eBay invoice for a Moebius '55 Chrysler 300 and an AMT '65 Malibu wagon 4 'n 1 :D
Maindrian Pace Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Got this swell '73 Vega promo from ebay, for less than the price of a resin body. Mint condition, and amazing how it could have survived untouched all these years. Now I'm gonna make it into a modern style street machine. -MJS
Scuderia Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Hahah, thanks Joe. And thats a nice Vega mike. interested to see how that turns out.
W-409 Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 WOW, that Vega is Something, I need to get too. Well, maybe some day, right now I have many things to buy... I got this '87 Thunderbird from ChevyCoupe41. Thanks, great basis.
The70judgeman Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Picked up Revell's '68 Charger R/T "Special Edition" kit for 50% off with coupon at Michael's for $14.00. Also got some clear casting resin and catalist. Want to try some parts casting since I've never tried it before. If all works well, I'll get more and different resin(s) and start casting more parts I wish I had more of for other projects.
