I've had access to one in a boneyard, and I've created CAD files for it. I notice this truck has virtually NO rivets. Any interest in this topic?wseries.jpg

Yes Tom it would do very well! I am currently mastering the next generation of that cab and people are begging for it! That year model has never been done in resin. I would take at least two myself!

I'd consider buying one if done right. by the way, what are those wind screens for on the front corners?

Trust me, if Tom does it, it will be better than "right"!!!!!!

Those are wind deflectors on the corner. They helped prevent mud/snow/splash debris up on the wide windows and were supposed to keep the wind from buffetting the mirrors. The Ford COE's weren't the most aerodynamic.. In the 70's, the corner deflectors were very common on Canadian COE's of all makes.

I don't know how well it would sell to the general big rig modeling public, but I know I'd be up for a couple. My great uncle had one, and I've always liked them myself.

The grill is a bit different, but you could build "The Blue Mule" from this i think...?.

I'm not positive the cab is the same, but the "Blue Mule" style IS what replaced these. Maybe the cab is the same?

I know a ton of us big rig modelers that would love to have several of these if available!

Eric Jones would love to have one probably? :P

The basic cab is the same. The major difference is the grille and the roof. The roof on the 66-73 cab was flat. The roof on the 73-77 cab has indented lines running front to rear. The cab your wanting to produce was used from 1966-1973. The "Blue Mule" WT9000 is a 1974 model. That cab was used from 1973 (late) to 1977. This is the cab I am currently mastering.

Here's how the 66 model looks. You'll see a lot of little differences. The windshield is smaller, the "F O R D" letters are larger, there are two wiper motor access vent panels, covers over the wipers, round turn signals, etc.
