rmvw guy Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Just finished this one up. '32 Ford Phaeton. Just a quick project, my first CBP. Not near what some of the other guys are building but, it was fun.
slusher Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 That looks really good Ron, nice to see one in different colors then the norm. Makes me want to get one...
rmvw guy Posted December 5, 2012 Author Posted December 5, 2012 Thanks Slusher, there are still plenty of them out there to be had, and cheap. I picked this one up for $2 about a month ago.
TooOld Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 (edited) Hey , that's really cool looking ! The colors are great , you did a fine job . Edit - I'm a little weird . . I like the top up ! Edited December 5, 2012 by TooOld
rmvw guy Posted December 5, 2012 Author Posted December 5, 2012 Thanks for all the kind words. Here's another picture with the top up for you guys that like it that way.
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Definitely cool, nice subtle 'slightly used' look. Love it.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I like it a lot, even though I like factory stock cars better. A nice touch is the FE engine, a good old FoMoCo engine.
Draggon Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Dig it, love the cream color, but then you know that.
rmvw guy Posted December 5, 2012 Author Posted December 5, 2012 Dig it, love the cream color, but then you know that. Thanks, I do remember you saying that. I still think maybe the scallops would have looked better.
rmvw guy Posted December 5, 2012 Author Posted December 5, 2012 Thanks everybody for all your positive feed back and words of encouragement,
rmvw guy Posted December 5, 2012 Author Posted December 5, 2012 I just had a thought, it looks like oil sprayed all over it, (the little black specks). It's just water color, I was trying to give it a wash, and it will wash off. I need a better wash but, don't want to ruin it with anything that will cut the enamel. Any suggestions?
rmvw guy Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 Not 100% happy with the wheels I switched to these. And I thought I was done.
