azers Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 (edited) This is the twin to my coronet. T he body is a johan body, the interior is a mix of aftermarket resin and kit pieces. The hood is a aftermarket resin piece. The chassis, the engine and engine compartment are amt. The paint is testors emerald green. The decals are a assortment of aftermarket ones. I found that with a little trimming and by modifying the johan kit glass the amt interior and chassis fit like it was made for the johan body. The chrome was typical for johan of that vintage, with a little research i found the modelhaus 69 roadrunner pieces are repops of the johan chrome. So i replaced the grill and bumpers with those pieces. All in all was a fun project. Edited December 29, 2012 by azers

caine440 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Outstanding! I love the Johan body and AMT chassis combo. Used the same parts to make my Project Six Pack Super Stocker. Great work!
my name is nobody Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 really terrific build up. that color really pops on that B body. the fit & finish are first rate. one awesome road runner.
george 53 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Gotta chime in here too! 68 to 70 B bodies are the PRETTIEST cars Chrysler EVER designed!!! You did a GREAT job on this. Only thing is I never saw the reflectors on the front and rear body sides done in chrome. They were body colored with colored plastic reflective inserts. But that's OK caz it STILL looks GREAT!!!!
bogger44 Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Beautiful build. One of Ma Mopar's all-time best.
