The Engines are from AMT's Star Wars "Pod Racer" Kit.

Nice to see your not going half way on horse power Ira. I hate it when you see these poor guys under-powered.:lol: It looks great.

Thanks Rob!

WOW!!!! you have some serious creativity. I don't know how you come up with the ideas, let alone being able to transform the idea into a physical model. Truly amazing.

Thanks Chuck!

BARS UP FRONT!!!

I found this part in the parts box. I think it is part of a tail light assembly...

I cut the two ends off and glued them in place as shown!

I think the vents would look better if they were inlayed

Thanks for your comment Daniel!

Actually I have the vents molded in now rather than inlaying them.

How about a scheme taken from a WWII P40 Flying tiger ? Might look cool with the open mouth and teeth that was on the plane. Decals should be easy to find. Just throwing that out there. Could also do a silver paint job and take some cues from a P 51 Mustang and use some cool nose art, panel and rivet detail. Never mind me I just watched an old war movie and have airplanes on my mind. : )

This is just too cool. I love everything you've done here and not just the imagination but the construction is superbly done and very clean. I agree with the WWII type paint scheme suggestions.

Are you going to make this float as part of your display?
