High octane Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Check out Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland and also Perry's Resin for those headers.
Qwit Pushin Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Model Car World does: "ENG-11 Chevy Small Block Gasser Headers (1/25th scale) $3.50 (over the frame fenderwell exit with dump tubes - '55-'57 Chevy, etc.)" http://www.mcwautomotivefinishes.com/resin/newstuff.html

Sixx Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Hey guys, does anyone make fender well headers for Gasser's Thanks for any input! Hey Joe! Man, ya gotta check ebay...I don't remember the sellers name, but they had just what you're looking for, the headers dump just behind the front tires!
tubbs Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 I found these..... http://www.reliableresin.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=238 I thought speed city made them too, but can't find them on their site. maybe comp resins....
High octane Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Perry's Resins makes them and they can be found in MPC's '57 Chevy kit with the flip front end. Also maybe in the MPC kit of the "53 (?) Ford pick up kit with the flip front end too, but I'm not sure.
george 53 Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Both those kits with the flip front ends are running Big Block Chevy engines, just so you know.
a/gass Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 The 57 flip front vette is small block. I use solder for mine.
nitro_force_fan Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Anyone know where the best resin place is to get the old stlye Mopar and chevy superstock or fenderwell headers?
Steve Prideaux Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 mcwautomotivefinishes.com They have both chevy fenderwell headers and the Mopar/Johan super stock headers listed under parts. Steve Prideaux
JPolli Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Might anyone know of a resin caster/kit for dump headers like these? Thanks.
JTalmage Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 http://www.scalemodelingbychris.com/smbc_partsp1.htm About a quarter of the way down...
Jantrix Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 The MPC 57 Chevy had those Yep, the flip nose if I'm not mistaken.
Dave Toups Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 (edited) Does anyone make resin fender well headers? I need them for a 57 Ford, but I would imagine ones for a 55-57 Chevy (small-block) would work. The exhaust ports on a 312 Ford are the same layout as a small-block Chevy. Do any kits have these? I'm looking for something that would be used on a junior stocker. Edited May 18, 2015 by Dave Toups
426-Hemi Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Dave, Good luck! I'm not sure any one makes fender-well headers, BUT they might be made with the use of solder and ran out from a header plate on the head and inserted into a drilled hole through it into the head and then shaped as you like it out through the fender well..... Solder or even aluminum wire would work well to make these from scratch!
vintagedragcrazy Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Hey Dave the flip nose 57 Chevy or the 53 ford pickup has what your looking for I might have an extra set laying around. Vince
boss 302 mustang Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 (edited) MCW has the old Jo-Han 426 wedge fenderwell headers in resin and also Chevy fenderwell headers Edited May 18, 2015 by boss 302 mustang
