jbwelda Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 +1 on all that above. that is sweet and a very kool use of a pretty limited kit. fantastic! those are Copperhead wheels? look especially nice.
Paxton Posted January 27, 2013 Author Posted January 27, 2013 hi again. thanks a lot for kind comments @jbwelda : wheels comes from Pegasus. i try to share some pic of the wip today. the job begins with a small sketch :
Paxton Posted January 27, 2013 Author Posted January 27, 2013 (edited) it was the last one, you've got all the pics of the wip, that' all folks Edited January 27, 2013 by Paxton
randx0 Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 I like the finished project and the wip was very helpful also.
Builder Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Wip is informative. Thanks. That was a lot of work and the results are unique and great.
TFchronos Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 This is absolutely stuning beyond words, if this were real and displayed at sema I have no doubt it would win something. This is such an amazing build, you did a top notch job it is a beauty. The most creative car I've seen in a while.
Mike 1017 Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 FANTASTIC !!!! Perfect color combo.Great flowing body lines
Scalper Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 wow... great build one of i kind I want one. They should make a kit from your creation. I like the indy wheels on it during mock up.
Bernard Kron Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 I've seen this elsewhere (I think it was MOM on Koolest Kruzers). It is brilliant, not only in detail and execution, but in styling and choice of paint scheme. Modeling on this level is something to be aspired to! Bravo! Vraiment superbe!!
Draggon Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Incredible, but then, judging by the replies, you know this. Didnt you win M.O.M. on Koolest Kruizers ?
Paxton Posted January 27, 2013 Author Posted January 27, 2013 thanks a lot all for your kinds comments. yes Mako has been MOM on KK. it has been a very hard battle vs the model MOM at now, only one voice more
Monty Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Normally I don't pay much attention to show cars, but the "Mako" aspect had me curious. My compliments on the design and execution of this build, Christian. You've created something beautiful, and you should be proud of what you've accomplished.
A.R.C. Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Very nice work Paxton. It has a very Hot Wheels look to it....I like it a lot. What brand of masking tape are you using for painting?
Paxton Posted January 28, 2013 Author Posted January 28, 2013 i use tamiya tape cutted at the width i need with chirurgical scalpel
ningoth4 Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 This is one of the nicest show car type designs I have seen in a long time! This looks as if it would belong in the Carl Casper's show car circuit. Excellent design work, and an excellent quality build too! Kevin
ningoth4 Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 I loved your in progress pics as well. It was great seeing your thought process and work progress in flow. Kevin
