Mopar - D Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 (edited) Here are my finished outside photos of what my 74 Jimmy looked like back in the late 70's. it was a fun truck back then but the 10 mpg and the NY rust it was time for some one else to take it over back in 81. I just moved this from the WIP section. Please enjoy and as always comments welcome. Edited March 2, 2013 by Mopar - D
BenDover78 Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 I belive that belongs with the road you got there.
hicksie Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 I have a 78 c20 that I'm in the middle of restoring now and I'm further on the model than the actual truck. Lol
Chris White Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 almost thought I was watchin an episode of trucks... nice kit
JM485 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Great build, I like all the pictures you took in the "wilderness".
Mopar - D Posted March 2, 2013 Author Posted March 2, 2013 The only thing that I was missing was the trailer hitch and I found a resin one on e-bay. Very nice resin hitch that is adjustable to use on any truck or car.
Platerpants Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 bring that down to my place my brother's and my trucks would like a friend specially my 1995 Jimmy.
MDSKELL Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 what did u use for the woodgrain trim in the middle?
Mopar - D Posted March 9, 2013 Author Posted March 9, 2013 Mark I painted the area by brush with gloss black and the again with a brush I used Tamiya Red Brown and streaked it allowing some of the black to show through. I did a WIP on my build also with pictures.
