realgone58 Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Finished this one up last night, color is closest I could get to factory Grenoble Green, I chose to go with roof color steelies with dog dishes on it instead of the Rallye package mags. Tires are kit supplied with some home made "CD" white walls. It does have it's engine in it, painted correctly, but I chose not to wire it due to the kit's rather crude under hood and chassis details. For an old mold, it was pretty clean and seemed to fall right together easily.
tomsheehy Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Very nice. How does he see behind him? LOL

Tom Geiger Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 NIcely done! I have a few of those tucked away. I almost bought a 1:1 once, a long time ago. It was black with a white roof and a bit weathered, just like I like 'em. It had a big oil stain under it and the owner said the hood cable was broke so he couldn't open the hood. That led me to believe he was hiding something so I passed. As life goes, someone who lived a block away from me bought it, so I saw it parked there for a couple of years!
realgone58 Posted February 24, 2013 Author Posted February 24, 2013 Thanks guys! I remember a few of these floating around NY where I grew up. They rusted fast up there.
W-Machine Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Nice take on a rarely seen (even when new) truck. I like your IH.
bogger44 Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Very nice. This kit has a lot of shortcomings, but you've made it look really good.
