Evilbenny Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 (edited) I built this a few years ago and won a couple of trophies with it. It turned out pretty good for my first real attempt at weathering a model. I used Wally World spray paint and Rustall for the finish. Any tips are welcome. Edited October 30, 2013 by Evilbenny
IMPALA SS 427 Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Very nice, i wish i could weather my models this good... it looks very realistic.
Evilbenny Posted February 14, 2013 Author Posted February 14, 2013 This was my first time adding plug wires to one of my models. I didnt think about the scale until It was sitting on the display table next to all the other builds. Thanks for the tip midnightprowler. That is what makes us better builders.
Simon Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Looks great, I really must build one of these big Chevies. As said above, very nice weathering and finish. For plug leads, I use 0.3mm black wire from a hobby store (works out about 1/4" in 1/25 scale).
tyrone Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Great job on this build.. the weathering looks nice....
