Volvoman Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Very well done to her, that has turned out great and you should both be proud.
Duntov Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I vote this to be the "Post of the Year"!!!!!! or is that "Build of the Year"!!!!???? She did a great job!!!!!
Guest Johnny Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 That is great!!! You should be very proud of her! My just turned three granddaughter will come into the room and see all the models in various state of disrepair or unfinished. Then she will open the closet door and say "wow thats a lot of cars grandpa." She will walk up to the desk and then point to things and ask what it is and where does it go and I'll do my best to explain in terms she can unserstand but yet not move away from actual names of parts and function. She will always say just before going back to the living room "when I get big grandpa, I'm going to help you fix all them cars!" I almost can't wait until she can!!!
Sixgunner68 Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 She did a great job! She is a cutie, definitely will be a heartbreaker (especially if she builds better than the boys!!! ).
David G. Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 The world needs more pink Mustangs and more young ladies to build them! Excellent work, you should both be proud. David G.

gary88 Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 she did a very super job you need to find a contest there in town and hv her put it in,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,very cool little one
Henchmen4Hire Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I wanted to ask about the part where you said this was painted and THEN sanded, do you mean you sanded the paint? As in to get rid of brush strokes? That's pretty cool, I didn't know that could be done, much less that it would give such slick results. I don't have an airbrush anymore so this is good news to hear if that's the case.
unclescott58 Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Way to go. Very nice job. Has she built anything more in the last year? Scott
cartpix Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Awesome. I can't believe an 8 year old built this. When I was 8, I built junk. I'm very impressed.
Danno Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Nice father-daughter project with a very nice result. Hope she's still building!
