bogger44 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 That looks terrible, you better send it to me asap! lol! Just kidding..... A stunning build, I don't know what else to say. Very nice work on adding the gauges to the dashboard, a detail that seems to often go overlooked on these cars. Congrats on a truly beautiful build, Rod!
W-409 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Nicely done Cyclone. I really like the look of this car, it's really Agressive, especially with the yellow color. You did outstanding job with this one, very nice engine detailing and paint job. The overall look is excellent, too.
scalemodelworld Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 What a gorgeous build. I love everything about it. How did you do the hinges? Are they home made or bought? I just bought some off Detail Master and I'm itching to try them out!
David G. Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Beautiful work! I love the added detail. David G.
vintagedragfan Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 outstanding once again Rod, hope to see it at the Heartland
Austin T Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 This is a breath taker. I can almost hear it cruising down the strip on a Friday night, challenging any whom dare.
Ron35369 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Great looking build! I am in total awe of your craftmanship. I would love to find one of these old Cyclone kits. Always thought they were better looking than the Torinos.
impcon Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 WOW!!!!!!!! That IS nice!!! i can only imagine the hours that you have in that car!! On another note, I hear you about the recent changes in this country regarding paint. I'm from Manitoba myself having moved here to B.C. back in '73. Plans are for my wife and I to get out of this province and move somewhere where there is less control by government. If we stay in Canada,( ??? ) it will be the prairies somewhere. . As for future paint issues, PM me.. maybe i can help you out. Just let me know. .
Albie D Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Offend? Are you kidding? You level of detail and execution is beyond approach.

Rod Posted February 25, 2013 Author Posted February 25, 2013 What a gorgeous build. I love everything about it. How did you do the hinges? Are they home made or bought? I just bought some off Detail Master and I'm itching to try them out![/quote Thank you! I used brass rod and tube to make the hinges.
geetee66 Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Jeepers! I have a long way to go before I'm even half as skilled as you. This build uses up all available superlatives! Excellent, amazing, incredible... These words don't do it justice. A truly inspiring build. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Rod Posted February 25, 2013 Author Posted February 25, 2013 Very nice. I would've liked to see the seats working. Beautiful work, definitely something you can be proud of. Charlie Larkin Thanks! Here's a few pics of the interior before installation to show the seats.
Ben Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Man, that is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd give up ten factory sealed Cyclone kits for that!!!!
Lunajammer Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Another winner and a sexy subject choice. Looking forward to seeing this up close.
Rod Posted March 2, 2013 Author Posted March 2, 2013 outstanding once again Rod, hope to see it at the Heartland Thank you!Unfortunately I will have to wait a few years to build some more cars for Heartland. It's a 13 hour drive so I can't commit every year.
