Luis Ayala Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 I Just wanted to share a couple of pics of another "Box Stock" project. This one is the re-issue of the 1948 monogram kit. Special thanks to my good friend Marcos Cruz who sent me two of this kits as a gift. Buit it mostly "Box Stock" exept for the BMF. Paint is Tamiya Maroon top coated with "Boyds Clearcote. It is far from perfect but I am very happy with the results. Hope you like it and thanks for looking
ismaelg Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Nice clean build. Great color choices. That car reminds me of the Karate kid movie. wax on, wax off Thanks,
cruz Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 We have talked about how nice this model is, you just showed all of us, nice color choice man........
Zoom Zoom Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Looks great, BMF is considered a finishing item like paint/decals so by most rules it's definitely OOB even w/BMF. Hopefully aliens aren't watching this board and wondering about all the acronyms
Harry P. Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Very nice! Your color choices suit the car perfectly. It looks great.
sjordan Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Outstanding. And it's nice that you can post extra pictures here.
Barbo Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 (edited) Looks great.....Papin67...is it a Die-cast, ja,ja,ja,ja, just kidding.............Be Happy..........Barbo. Edited September 21, 2007 by Barbo

Luis Ayala Posted September 22, 2007 Author Posted September 22, 2007 Thank you all for your comments!!!!!!!!!!! I am glad you like it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really enjoy this kind of projects, I have a couple of more detailed projects on the bench, but getting the hands on this quick builds really hit the spot. This one took me 6 days working about 2 hours a day to get it done. I definately agree with Zoom Zoom, the first time I entered a forum, I was scrolling down the board banging my head on the bench trying to catch up with the "lingo"... Again, thank you all for taking some time to check it out...
MikeBoyle Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 That is one of the cleanest '48's I've ever seen. Nice job!
bsoder Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Well nothings perfect..BUT that looks about as close as your gonna get!..Beautiful
Randy Kern Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Very clean, and the color choices were perfect. The BMF is flawless, too. Looks great, Luis!
