azers Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 (edited) This is my first online build. It is a combined kit of a 1969 mpc camaro and firebird. The chassis, interior and engine are from the fir ebird kit. The decals are from a 69 camaro with firebird emblems on the nose and tailight panel. The wheels are cragars to stay with the 60's theme of the car. The tailights and mirrors are from a 87 firebird. I shaved the doorhandles and replaced them with photoetch detailmaster door handles. The license plate is a custom washington plate. Enjoy. On to the next project. Just tap the picture to enlarge. Edited March 2, 2013 by azers

beeRS Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Nice one! I love those custom touches and nice deep paint.
DumpyDan Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 WOW! This is really cool, I like the way this flows. Done well.
nboldman Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 so smooth transitions and subtle changes that it looks like they were ment to be from the show room! Great build!
azers Posted March 2, 2013 Author Posted March 2, 2013 I should have clarified front clip is 69 to retain the lower lights and meld with body. The grill is 68. I just modified the wheel lip mouldings to smooth the body.
azers Posted March 2, 2013 Author Posted March 2, 2013 Sorry for the post layouts. Started using another sight. Then photobucket came back so used them. Enjoy the pictures. Onto the coronet now. Thanks for the kind comments.
W-Machine Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I especially like the fender vents, a nice touch on a well-done build.
